Douglas has had a diversified career but fell in love with the print and design industry. He believes there is nothing more rewarding than to see your work out there in the public domain.
He began specialising in digital printing back in 2000 but was taken on at Dingwall Printers in 2003 as a general assistant. Starting in the finishing department he quickly moved into helping with the digital side along with graphic design and pre-press. This developed over the following year into a more permanent role in the graphic design department.
Then in May 2010 he took on the Centre Manager’s role at Prontaprint Inverness. Douglas, along with two well-respected local businessmen, bought the company over in April 2014.
Now as the boss, Douglas will continue to go that extra mile for his customers making sure the end product is just right. He is a people person and firmly believes that business is better done face to face.
Iain joined us after graduating with an Honours Degree in Graphic Design from Gray’s School of Art when the company was Polar Print & Design back in November 2011.
During his time he has slotted well into the team and has a professional and pleasant manner towards our customers. Highly creative he’s the man to talk to about design. However, you will also find him trimming business cards – his all-time favourite job!
